Miss Greece - Ria Antoniou

Ria Antoniou is a 19 year old greek super model who ended up 2nd Runner Up and will be representing Greece in Miss International 2008. She is from Peloponisous and also won the "Miss Peloponissus" pageant in year 2007. Ria has already represented Greece in the "Model of the World" pageant and also placed as a 2nd runner up.

According to Greek Gossip Magazine, Betty Kourakou, her neck to neck rival who was also the favorite to win the pageant had given internal information on the Greek pageant to them, that it was all arranged for Ria Antoniou to win. As a matter of fact not to endanger the pageant's reputation, the pageant committee decided to modify their original plan and not to give the title to Ria anymore.
